Overnight lane and ramp closures on I-70 EB in Jackson County for signage work, TONIGHT & Aug. 31
JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct overnight lane and ramp closures on I-70 EB for signage work. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:
Thursday, Aug. 27 (TONIGHT) and Monday, Aug. 31 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
- Crews will conduct lane closure on I-70 EB between Broadway Blvd and MO 9 on the north side of downtown loop.
- Crews will CLOSE both on ramps from W 6th St to EB I-70.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
