Various ramp closures on NB and SB I-49 for pavement resurfacing in Jackson County, Aug. 27-Sep. 1
JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close various on and off ramps overnight on NB and SB I-49 for pavement resurfacing. All work is weather permitting. See below for modifications:
Thursday, Aug. 27 until Tuesday, Sep. 1 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
- Crews will close the on and off ramps on I-49 from Blue Ridge Blvd.
- Crews will close the on and off ramps on I-49 from Harry S. Truman Rd.
- Crews will close the on and off ramps on I-49 from Main St.
- Crews will close the on and off ramps on I-49 from Frontage Rd.
- Crews will close the on and off ramps on I-49 from MO 150.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
