Lane closures on NB and SB Lee's Summit Rd Bridge over I-70 in Jackson County for ADA work

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation is conducting a lane closure on northbound and southbound Lee’s Summit Road at the bridge over I-70 for ADA work starting at the ramp to I-70 (north of bridge) to the westbound ramp to I-70 (south of bridge) NOW until approx. September 18 at 8:00 pm. All work is weather permitting.

ADA work includes sidewalk removal and replacement as well as pedestrian signal installations. Motorists can expect delays.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris form the roadway.
